Please don’t feed the flying rat, she’s on a special diet

So I’ve been wanting to try and make a Ghibli-esque drawing for a while now but could never come up with a composition that worked.

I think it turned out okay.

I really enjoyed figuring out which parts of the image would be moving if it was animated and giving them outlines, I think it really adds to the vibe I was going for

It honestly felt pretty weird to not have 100 layers of texture on everything I do, and it also made me remember how much I hate doing outlines. Felt like a sniper, squinting with one eye closed and holding my breath trying to do clean lines.
